Karen Olivo, born August 7, 1976, is a stage and television actress best known for originating the role of Vanessa in the Tony Award winning musical In the Heights both on and off Broadway, and for her outstanding performance as Anita in the Broadway revival of West Side Story, which garnered her the 2009 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical.
